I have boughten two beautiful love birds from gardels and I must say I never thought I would be a bird person until now. With the support of gardel’s team I now have two perfect little friends! I am greatly educated on how to care and love these guys thanks to them. We now go for routine nail clips when due and little visits and every time we are there we are always warm welcomed! 10/10 if I could rate this place that! Thank you!!!

We always go here. The staff is always friendly, helpful and polite. The health of the pets is taken seriously here. It's a bit more on the pricey side but you get treated nicely with any question or concern, you are taken seriously. Pictures were taken at home, purchased in store Hamsters needed some time to grow their trust (which is normal!) and are the best pets now. (Have them for 8 months by now.)

Gardel Pet Shop's my go-to for fish and shrimp stuff. The staff's awesome, always welcoming. They've got tons of pets and everything you need to care for them. The owner's super friendly and knows his stuff; I always bug him for fish room tips.

I am 66 years and I remember going into Gardels in Owen Sound when I was a young boy. This has been a staple business in Owen Sound for many decades. You don't last like this by being second rate. I now frequent the store more often and am very happy with every aspect of buying my fish here. Hats off to the staff and owners for a job well done.

Love our 'Hammy' from Gardel's. Our dwarf hamster was a gift to our children from Santa, and he's just the sweetest little guy. So cute and healthy - overall a great experience for our first hamster.

Very very knowledgeable places !!! Endless animals of all kinds to view, my daughter has gotten to hold a snake there !!! I never leave without a treat for the dogs . I havent had an issues with small animals from there.

Have a been sopping at Gardels Pet Shop for many years. Now on 3rd generation of family ownership. This where I go for pond supplies, fish food, and dog supplies. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, and will do everything they can to find supplies for you

My wife and I come here often with our kids and we absolutely love it. Not just because of the amazing animals that my 2 boys find entertaining and unique but also because of the friendly and knowledgeable and caring staff. These people truly truly care about animals and I love that so much. Thank you all so much!
